THE CLINIC IS CLOSED

Just for a few days. I’ve decided that Doc needs a vacation. It took a lot of convincing, but I’ve managed to get him to leave the clinic.

There are a few people here that I can take care of and get back on their feet, but new patients won’t be admitted for a bit.

New Blog Manager

I’m not letting Doc post on this blog from now on after that last one. It’s true, but I don’t think he needs to make his depression public.

People might get certain… ideas about him.

He only says he killed those people because he blames himself for their deaths. He thinks that every person under his care has to be saved. If they die, he calls himself the killer.

He’s working on limited supplies and limited time.

The Plague Doctor really shook him up, as well. I don’t think he’s seen any of the Fears before.

Last post

I don’t know why Yuki posted all of that. I thought she was going to do something more like the last post she did. Some primary source tips for runners and that sort of thing. I didn’t realize she was so concerned about me. She’s never indicated those feelings in person.

She’s right though. I’ve been having some problems coping with the amount of deaths on my hands recently. I’ve been failing people left and right, and I haven’t had the heart to write on here about it. I suppose if you want a list of the deceased, I keep a record of what names I got and descriptions of each patient that has come through here. If there is someone in particular you’re looking for, just ask and I’ll see what I can do.

If they’ve come by here recently, the news probably won’t be happy, however.

Yuki Again

I’m back. Doc needed me to take care of this again. He hasn’t really gotten any more patients than usual, but they’re really starting to take a toll on him.

That virus really bit into him, and then he’s been losing more patients than usual as well.

I’ve been trying to help where I can, but I don’t know as much as he does.

He’s been praying a lot lately, too. He’s always been pretty religious from what I remember, but he’s been praying at least twice a day now.

I’ve never seen him lose this many patients before.

Online Information

Here’s some links that Runners may find useful:

Doctor Finder
The American Medical Association has an online doctor finder that you can use. You can look at their educational background, what insurance they take, office hours, and other useful information.

Prescription Help
The Partnership for Prescription Assistance can help pay for prescriptions. If you qualify, you can get your prescriptions for free or nearly free. This would be very useful to any Runners that are low on cash and happen to have a pre-existing condition.

Free Clinics
Free Medical Camps is an online and up-to-date listing of the free medical clinics and camps all over the United States. If you’re not around my area, this could be a useful tool.
